Hi all good to catch up with all the BTBFF people another great day! its great to be held accountable and keep us on track thanks Steve I know you were tired but we appreciate your effort
Yes. Fantastic day, thank you Steve, especially when you were so tired! Thank you for your example of commitment. Loved the Financial Frredom Matrx too, has given my plan some direction.
Thanks Steve, ditto Jan, I think some of us are feeling like the last couple to arrive at the pit stop check in on a non elimination leg of the amazing race. Determined not to be eliminated next trip, doing my darndest not to let you or me down :-). Hoping to see all of our team there next time.
Thanks Steve for an informative day despite the Jetlag. Thanks also to the new people I met throughout the day. The NSW table we sat at were very welcoming (despite us being from QLD.) It is so refreshing to be amongst like minded people. It's amazing how few new people you can meet in your day to day like, especially interesting people who have plans and goals !
We as the NSW team were also thrilled ot meet you too .. and connect with new people. Obviously as we move around and the groups shift, we will all make some great networks for support and sharing.
I learned from Steve's example yesterday and will be more commited to this course. I have the normal excuses I can real off, but that is waste of time. I want to model myself on successful people and they dont have excuses that have results.
We do love you and appreciate the efffort from the jetlag.
The biggest thing I got out of yesterday's session was Steve's cautious outlook on the Aussie market. Probably looks like a "basket case" in comparison to Steve's potential deals in the USA and accept that this could have the "cool" affect towards the Aussie market. However, I tend to agree that we need to invest cautiously and wisely in the next 12 months - or at least we have some certainty with a future government that can govern in its own right.
Thanks for the jolt some of us needed - me included. While in Melbourne I stayed with friends and they always ask me to give them a summary of what was presented. It's a great way to reinforce what we have been exposed to. Flying home was more enjoyable because it provided another chance to review my notes from Saturday. Thanks again Steve for putting so much effort into this group. It is truly appreciated. Go the SEVEN DWARVES!
Thanks Steve, the time you spent was really appreciated and gave me the focus I needed to move forward. I am determined to prevent myself from backsliding and keep my motivation strong. Sometimes it is a reminder of the basics that can provide clarity and help light the way.
I enjoyed Saturday very much and got a lot out of it. It was great to reconnect with other QLD'ers and meet some new people too.
Something I have learned recently is that we are going to need more than motivation. Motivation is one of those things that just isn't there when you need it most. It might get you started but it won't keep you going. We are all going to need discapline and commitment to stay part of the BFF group and well into the future if we are going to get to our goals.
I am sure Steve was not overly motivated to spend the day with us after being away from his lovely family for 3 weeks and feeling jetlagged on top. What got him there was discapline and commitment.
I hope you are feeling less tired today Steve. I agree with Cherie. It's not our desire or motivation but our commitment to be disciplined in order for us to stay focused on our goals.
I sent my journal, just in time - I am beginning to realise just how much time I am spending on the darn thing. "Trying" to make the read interesting rather than just focusing on the major investing points. Do you get bored reading them, Steve?!! :)
I think one of the best parts of the day was when we went for our little walk and looked at inefficient properties. Normally I would look at that last house and think reno, or depending on the land size chuck another house on the back. I wouldn't of thought of rezoning it to commercial or multi unit. It was a real eye opener, not just to look at houses but look at what is surrounding them too
I to want to say thanks Steve for all your efforts last Saturday despite being jetlagged and having been away from your family for so long. I appreciated your committment and ideas that your shared with us on the day. Many thanks Steve.
It was great to meet some new people and connect with those from my previous group.
Thank you Steve for your time and always 100% commitment to the group you are working with. It was wonderful seeing the group and hearing about the great successes and plans from many people in the room. Looking forward to December - so much can change, develop and come about in 7 weeks - day by day!
I agree with everyone. You have shown us a great example of what commitment really is. Thank you for doing the 2nd BTBFF despite the jetlag. And thank you for giving all those who have missed completing the journals another chance.

Well said Mattob75.
It takes a strong example to see your own comfort zone from an outside perspective.

I agree with roadhog260, being able to see the examples in context was much more meaningful. A good day with everyone.
Cheers,
Wendy
Yes I think this would be good to do again, especially as the group gets smaller. Practical examples are much better than theory.
How about it Steve, small road trip later in the program?
