I am starting to purchase some investment properties and want to know if anyone can recommend a good accountant that specialising in investment properties/ wealth building. I live in the Western Suburbs, Melbourne so somewhere close would be ideal. But if they come highly recommended, then location isn't a factor.

Hi Adam,
I was previously recommended to use 'The Practice'. They are based in Parkville. In previous years, they used to have an information booth during Steve Mcknight's annual conference. I did noticed that they weren't there this year.
I think quite a number of people have used them (who may have done the course or attended the annual conferences) but I think it is best if any one in this forum to testify to that.
The first meeting is complimentary.

I use Noel May and Associates. I cant recommend them more highly. They are based in Cheltnam, which isnt in your local area..... but well worth it. They provide a great service, the turn around for my return was 1 week, they are really well priced ($500 for 4 properties) and I often call/email them for tax advice relating to property investing. I have several friends who use them from interstate and they just scan all their docs and email.

Hi Adam, I am also in the western suburbs and have used my accountant for 5 years. His office is Bundoora but he often heads to meet clients at their workplaces or homes. He is very generous with his advice, helping you to understand accounting principles, not just giving advice. Ben Lord at BCL business services.
