Hi Lowpel. I'm going alright with the course, just about to start the Module 2 assessment (looks like there's some pretty hands on Research Assignments in there).
I was planning to buy an investment property this year, but now I've postponed that since starting the course because I now realise there is a lot more I need to know before I go rushing in. So I'm trying to be pretty consistent with the course so I can learn as much as I can and get into investing sooner, rather than later.
Excatly the same boat I was in when I started the course. Wanted to buy am glad I have held off as the knowledge I have gained after doing this course has meant now that I am starting my due dili/ property hunting I can see how many things I could have missed and cost me big time. Obviously you still learn from doing but im now comforatable with the risk I can mitigate and knowing I have specific goals to obtain gives me direction unlike a lot of investors out there ( those speculative ones!) . Good to hear. I've finished module one just getting through the last bit of the assessment stuff for it. I'm at the start of module 2 somewhere. Good plan on holding back, we've got alot to learn. Want to meet up for a coffee? Are you going on the brisbane property bus tour next week?

There is a Meetup group I've been to once. I was unable to make the second one, but I plan to make the 3rd one in November. It's run by a property apprenticehip student who has just about complete the course.
