Property Apprenticeship Brisbane

Hi All
I am just starting the course in Brisbane and wondered if there is anyone else up here who would be interested to get together.

Hey Louise,
Where in Brisbane are you? I have recently just handed in my last assignment if you want any help feel free to message me 0410587092. I have also set up a Meetup group http://www.meetup.com/YPI-Young-Property-Investors-Brisbane/ planning on the first meetup next month.

Hi munmun
Thanks for the invitation but I think I may be a tad old for the group :-)

Hey Louise
I'm in Brisbane also and have just signed up.  I'm keen to get together with others for some support and accountability. :)

Hi Lowpel.
I'm going alright with the course, just about to start the Module 2 assessment (looks like there's some pretty hands on Research Assignments in there).

I was planning to buy an investment property this year, but now I've postponed that since starting the course because I now realise there is a lot more I need to know before I go rushing in. So I'm trying to be pretty consistent with the course so I can learn as much as I can and get into investing sooner, rather than later.

How are you going with the course?

Excatly the same boat I was in when I started the course. Wanted to buy am glad I have held off as the knowledge I have gained after doing this course has meant now that I am starting my due dili/ property hunting I can see how many things I could have missed and cost me big time. Obviously you still learn from doing but im now comforatable with the risk I can mitigate and knowing I have specific goals to obtain gives me direction unlike a lot of investors out there ( those speculative ones!) . Well done looks like you are flying through the course!

Hey SteevO,

Good to hear.  I've finished module one just getting through the last bit of the assessment stuff for it.  I'm at the start of module 2 somewhere.  Good plan on holding back, we've got alot to learn.  Want to meet up for a coffee?  Are you going on the brisbane property bus tour next week?

Victor I met you at the YPI meet up the other night but I didnt get a chance to talk to you.   If youre free too I'd love to have a coffee some time and talk about the course and what you up now.

Hi Lowpel,

Sorry the the delayed reply. The forum should really have a notifications thing when someone replys to a post you've commented on. Meeting up for a coffee some time would be good. Are you going to Victors Young Property Investors Meetup tomorrow night? I will be attending.

There is a Meetup group I've been to once. I was unable to make the second one, but I plan to make the 3rd one in November. It's run by a property apprenticehip student who has just about complete the course.
