Greetings!

I'm writing with an update. I will also send this via email before the end of the week.

First of all, some great news. As of today, I am pleased to announce that we have been successful in mapping the course content to a Certificate IV in Business.

This achieves one of our key goals in releasing this training, and provides access to government funding for eligible students. Of course, you may be wondering whether you qualify for some money from the government. In short, if you don't have a Certificate IV or better qualficiation then you might. We need a little more time to map this out, and also the process (and cost) of bridging from the Statement of Attainment to the Cert IV in Business, so please bear with us.

Also, as I'm back from holidays, I am now throwing a considerable amount of my available time behind this training. As such, I am proposing that our first 'official stream'  begin on the 1st December 2011. This means that I will create a timetable and also a series of webinars that explores and goes into greater depth in the course content.

It's free to participate and will be a good motivator for those who have the course but haven't made a start.

Okay - that's it for now.

Hope you're well.

Sincerely,

- Steve

Hi Steve, I'm wondering if you meant the 1st December 2011, rather than 2012 for the first streaming?
Thanks

Hi Redcake

Yes you are correct, 1 December 2011.  Goodpick up :-)

Hi

For those who purchased the course prior to it becoming a certificate 4, what will be the process to move to a Cert 4?
From speaking with Steve at a prior conference, there would be minimal change in the content (possible slight change in the assessment, please confirm) and possibly a small fee

Is this correct?

A brief introduction: I am a high school teacher in Perth, WA and my wife and I have three children. We have been investing in real estate for a number of years. Apart from our own home, we have two rental properties and a block of land which is currently being leased as a carpark in a home display village. I am keen to "upskill" my investment abilities and to set-up an efficient system to grow our investments. I'm really excited about joining this Apprenticeship program and journeying together --- with like-minded folks! Thanks for the introductions on this Forum.

Warmest regards
Tony Y

Hi

Sorry for posting my intro on this site last night --- it was meant to be on the General Discussion page.
Cheers

Hi,

I can confirm that the fee to go from SOA to Cert IV will be $500 (I was expecting $1,000) and that I am clarifying the enrolment process with the RTO. Stay tuned.
