utilising a buyer to find properties

Hey Guys ,

The biggest aha moment for me , is to utilise a buyer to scout out properties for me . Also, thinking about population growth and what that may mean for purchasing in a high rise development - to get ahead of the trend , and then gain profits over the long term by using a buy and hold strategy .

How much to buyers agents cost to use, do you know? And how do you know if they are a good one?

We looked at a few recently in the QLD region and found that they wanted around the $10,000 mark. Deposit of about $2,000 non refundable to get them started. As for knowing if they are any good is asking the right questions and knowing the answers they should provide, plus qualifications and memberships they have.
Good luck.
