Session 1 - any one else out there?

Hi,
I'm finding not many people are posting or answering lately. Does that mean there aren't many other people out there at about the same place I am? Just interested to know if there is anyone else just starting module 2 (end of June 2016)? I'm loving this course so far, but so keen to get all the knowledge. As I learn more I am finding I have so many new questions and puzzles to answer in my own situation. My husband and I are really keen to start our journey (or recommence it as we already have 2 +CF properties in a rural area) but we have limited starting capital/available cash for buying costs (although high borrowing potential due to my husband's high salary) so we are limited to what we can do to start with. Anyway, I just thought I'd try to find out who is out there. Anyone?

Hello Susan, just thought I'd say hi. I've started recently by attending the amazing Bootcamp at Healesville, June 15 - 19th. That was an exciting start but the reality of every day life has caught up with me and it'sso easy to be distracted. I'm trying hard to complete Module 1 by June 30th and my plan is to do one module per month over the next 6 months. I'd love to have it done by Christmas - wish me luck, hey?
Thanks for the prompt to add a post. I'm wondering how my fellow Bootcampers going? Would love to hear if you're making progress with your written assessments. Thanks for your post Susan. Best wishes, Susanna

Hi both. I have had to collate my tax returns and get a few things in order to be able to concentrate on these BC2016 studies. Can assist and work through it to...i might not be able to properly restart it till mid July. Quite a bit to organise for my 1st tax return for investments. Tip. Get everything organised. Pay your rates etc for that financial year or you might not get it till july 2017 or you might miss out on a $1000 or $2000 lol. For 2014/2015 April-June i got $2000 as a return but missed out on another $3k. Now i have to do 2015/2016 will try to claim that in this one but i might not be able to until july 2017...so I'll miss out for 2015/2016 about $4k. So if I'm all up to date I'll get some of the $7k back in July 2017...instead of now...
